| | Above: Students enjoy an academic field trip in Mexico | | Alliant’s campuses are as diverse as the student body itself. Whether they are studying forensic psychology in Fresno, earning an undergraduate degree in San Diego or soaking up culture and listening to the music of Mexico City, our students enjoy well-rounded lifestyles, making international friendships and connections. A spectrum of formal and informal activities complements Alliant's academic programs. You can unwind while preparing food for a diversity festival - a feature of multiple different campues - and get to know others from very different backgrounds. You might stretch out by shooting hoops on the San Diego Campus, enjoy a snack at a student cafe or go sightseeing with fellow students. You could engage in one of the many public service projects run by our students; they range from recycling and collecting clothing for a local battered women's shelter to trips to aid those in need here and abroad. Whatever you choose, the many activities of Alliant student life offer a welcome respite from academic demands. Alliant International University prides itself on the diversity of its student body. "International" is our middle name, and for good reason. Alliant has students from almost every state in the US -- plus 407 international students from 69 different countries including Cameroon, Botswana, Greece, Iceland, Portugal and Turkey. Alliant’s students enrich its campuses, bringing experiences and cultures from around the world. Our professors - who grew up in places ranging from Argentina to China - are also confidantes, mentors and sounding boards who understand that education takes place all over the campus, in the cafe as well as in the classroom. Each of our campuses has its own personality and style. Our Scripps Ranch Campus, in San Diego, is the only Alliant campus that offers on-campus housing. Scripps Ranch hosts an two-year undergraduate completion program while our Mexico City Campus is the home of a four-year undergraduate program. Alliant's other California campuses - San Francisco, Fresno, Los Angeles, Irvine and Sacramento - are commuter campuses that cater to graduate students who live independently, often in shared apartments not far from campus. Alliant International University also has programs and students in Tokyo, Japan and Hong Kong China. In each location, students, with the help of active student government associations, lend a unique color and texture to student life with their own celebrations, festivals and activities.
